Ask Flip Where the Hoodie Is

Type where is FX-0001 and what else is in that box, and Flip goes rummaging. A second later: the Carhartt hoodie is in Box A1, here is its card, and by the way the app only told me what is there, want me to search the box? Tap the card and you are on the item.

That is Ask Flip. It reaches from a chip under the Home greeting and a tile in the hub. What makes it different from a generic assistant is that it is wired into the ledger through seven read-only tools: search items, locate an item, get an item's full detail, stats, the rescue queue, quests and nudges, and the tax summary.

The server owns Flip's persona and the tool definitions. The phone runs the tools locally against your own data and sends back only the results, in a loop capped at six hops, so your stock never sits in someone else's database. Replies mention SKUs, and any FX-number in a reply renders as a tappable item card. Status lines like Flip is rummaging show what he is doing while he does it.

Writing actions, mark this sold and the like, are deliberately not tools yet. When they arrive they will come with a confirmation step, because a fox that can sell your stock by accident is not a feature.
