Two Languages, One Deck

The polyglot feature nobody else ships: pick a pair of languages and play them in the same deck — with the game quietly dealing more practice to whichever one is weaker.

Seven languages live in the box — English, Español, Français, Italiano, Deutsch, العربية and 日本語. English and Spanish are free; the Language Pass opens the rest with a 7-day trial. The trick is the pairing: choose any two and the deck interleaves them, and when the mastery ledger notices one language lagging, the due categories from that language get dealt first. Your weak spots become the next hand you're holding.

Every word ships with studio-generated audio, bundled in the app — no connection needed.

The philosophy is closer to Steve Kaufmann than to a drill sergeant. In a video published last week, the 20-language polyglot argued against forcing vocabulary at all: let exposure and 'natural, relaxed forgetting' do the work, because the words that come back on their own are the ones that stay.
