Every Legend's First Post Is Embarrassing
Before the drone shots and the sponsors, every travel channel starts as one awkward upload. A short column in defence of posting it anyway.
Scroll to the very bottom of any big travel channel and you'll find it: the shaky first vlog, the wrong microphone, the thumbnail made in Paint. Nobody starts with a masthead. The most famous first post in internet history is five words long and does absolutely nothing:
The lesson for anyone sitting on an unposted first video: the archive only looks inevitable in reverse. Post the embarrassing one. Issue 3 of this magazine exists because five people once did.
