From a 2-Day MVP to $340K a Month

Sarah Pearl built Stella, an AI manifesting app, on top of an audience of billions of TikTok views. Two months after launch: 12,000 paying subscribers and $350K in monthly recurring revenue. The playbook is distribution-first, product second.

The numbers are silly on purpose: an MVP whipped up in two days, a full product in under three months, 200,000 downloads and $350–360K MRR eight weeks after launch. But none of it starts with the app. It starts with 2.8 million TikTok followers and over a billion views — distribution the product was reverse-engineered from.

Jump to 13:43 — the whole strategy in one line: read the comments, find the 'I wish this existed', build that.

Peace and love doesn't build empires. Pain does, quite frankly.

Sarah Pearl, Stella — on Starter Story

Her advice to developers inverts the usual order: master content and virality first, treat the comment section as your product roadmap, and ship the MVP in days, not months — 'speed is the number one ingredient towards success in this industry.' The app is the monetization layer on an audience, not the other way round.
